God Bless this food we are about to eat

We've been trying really hard to get into the habit of saying Thanks to God at dinnertime during the past month. Tonight as we just sat at the table, we remind Lukas that we needs to say prayers before we eat. He reaches out his hands to hold our hands and he squints his eyes in trying to close them and also peaks up at each of us before we start praying, to see if we are doing the same. During the past month, Tony has been leading us in prayer. Well tonight Lukas starts right in before Tony even starts and Lukas says, "Thank You Jesus for our foooood". And Tony and I looked at each other, trying so hard not to laugh at his cuteness, but definitely couldn't hold back the huge grins we had. We repeated his thoughtful words and continued on with the prayer. Today marks the first day that Lukas has initiated and said the first line of dinnertime blessings.
